Hands of History Tour The 113 km (70 mi) Hands of History Tour begins in Hazelton and heads towards Kitwanga, passing First Nations villages and some of the oldest totems in the world along the way. The trail moves on to Gitwangak, where St. Paul’s Anglican Church still stands, built in 1893 and the oldest wooden structure in British Columbia, and then crosses the mighty Skeena River before returning to Hazelton. Be sure to allow an entire day for this trip, and a camera should always be at the ready. |
