Hagwilget Suspension Bridge
Located in New Hazelton, the Hagwilget Suspension Bridge is one of the highest in the world, swaying breathtakingly 81 m (265 ft) over Bulkley River. The single-lane bridge, built in 1930, replaced a much earlier model cleverly designed and made by the Gitksan-Wet’suwet’en peoples out of poles and rope.
